My favorite candle has always been Baies by diptyque. Its scent is fresh and light, but bold enough to get you through a cool winter evening. I have tried forever to find a candle I love as much, and that wasn’t $100. I’m not a lover of fruity or over scented, I like to know there’s a candle burning, but not be blown away by the scent of vanilla, cinnamon or pumpkin. Finding a good candle for the fall has always been hard because I don’t like the house to smell like an apple pie (unless there’s an actual apple pie baking in the oven). I was recently¬†introduced to¬†Monokle Collection candles, and they are¬†soooo good. My favorite is wood sage + cardamom. The best way I can describe it is it smells cozy. And the wood wick crackles like a fire. I have mine on the nightstand and light it while I read before I go to bed. The next place this magnificent candle is going is by the tub! I know it’s always a gamble to buy candles online (someone needs to come up with a scratch and sniff screen), but I’m telling you this candle collection is so worth it.

They're beautiful! Thanks for the tip. I love candles that are elegant from an aesthetics perspective, but also enhance the space when lit (because we are not the type who have a bunch of unlit candles throughout the house…they get used every time).
