FROM SEED TO STITCH

FROM SEED TO STITCH

I’m a sheet connoisseur, a very serious white sheet connoisseur. So when Authenticity 50 asked me to try their sheets, I happily obliged. They arrived at my door, I threw ’em into the washing machine, made the bed, and dove in. Ahhhh, the only thing better than clean sheets is¬†new clean sheets, am I right? These sheets didn’t disappoint. They’re made from thick, durable cotton, have a crisp feel, and get softer every time I wash them. But that’s not the only reason I love ’em.

Version 2

I’m starting to pay much more attention to where the things I buy come from (thank you The American Edit). I’m not sure if it will ever be possible to steer completely clear of everything made in China, but I’m trying. I’m not against buying a product made in a different country, I’m totally cool with that, I’m just more conscientious¬†about the products I buy being ethically¬†sourced. And if I can give money to local companies, that’s a bonus. Enter¬†Authenticity 50. From seed to stitch, their sheets are produced here in the good ol’ USA. They’re on a mission to bring textile and manufacturing jobs back to the United States. From the cotton farms, to the spinning, weaving and sewing, A50 sheets are 100% american made. And they’re free of chemicals like formaldehyde¬†(yes, that known carcinogen is in sheets). If you’re in the market for simple, soft, well-made sheets, definitely check these out. I sleep better knowing where my sheets come from, and I like that¬†the pillowcase my face is smashed up against isn’t made with formaldehyde, what?!? So crazy. Be informed, sleep better.authenticity50_02171619541_5ef8ed1d-4afe-4d41-8148-ffdfd618cb73

This is really interesting. I truly didn’t know I had to worry about sheets having carcinogens! Thank you for sharing (I think I’ll have to double check all my sheets now).

Right?! It’s crazy the things we have to worry about. I see sheets, I think cotton, NOT FORMALDEHYDE.
