GETTIN' FESTIVE

After a very full few weeks with projects, things are starting to settle down a bit before the next whirlwind of activity. Even with its seemingly annual craziness, this is one of my favorite times of year. Friends visiting, ski trips, birthdays, and the excitement of the impending Spring. Styling projects lighten up a bit during February and March, and staging picks up for Spring sales. This time of year tends to be very transitional, and after learning to embrace it, I've grown to enjoy the change-up of activity. So, I decided to put this slow day to good use. I stopped at the florist, picked up some festive stems to brighten things up, and gathered ingredients at the store to bake a certain someone special his favorite dessert. A pretty good use of a random Wednesday ;)
