- QUICK TRIP TO THE MIDWEST -
The huz and I made a quick weekend trip to see family this weekend. And honestly, not much exciting happened, just family time. The highlight of the weekend was definitely stopping into this quaint little market. They had amazing produce, french dishware and linens, the most delicious looking peach pies, and free watermelon slices (that right there, that's why independently owned markets are my favorite, I'm never offered free things at Safeway). We picked up fresh mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes for a snack. There may be nothing better than fresh tomatoes. Sooo yum. Went to breakfast with my family, grabbed coffee with my sister, lunch with my brother, shared drinks with some friends, just regular ol' family fun! Oh! And the sign we ordered for my sister's apartment was delivered while I was there. So cool, right? (from Oh Dier) That's it in a nutshell. Back to work, back to regularly scheduled programming ;)
