Oh, summer weekends, where do they go? One activity fades into another, time at the pool turns into pick-up volleyball games at the park, which turn into drinks with friends and late night patio chats under the moonlight. When fall comes around and the holidays approach, I get really excited, but I have to say, my all-time favorite time of year is summertime. It's like a free pass to be footloose and carefree and I like it. We spent some time at the pool (and so did puppy Stella), cuddled with a "freshie", Adelaide, born last Wednesday, met up with friends and partied until the sun went down Saturday night. Recouped and spent Sunday on the patio sipping a little white wine & Tecate and snacked on smoked salmon and cheese. Got a couple of (very hot) runs in and capped off the weekend with the season finale of Mad Men (honestly, didn't this season just start??) Here's to a productive week and a fab Monday!! (Oh, and here's to my couch getting here. I gotta wish for this every week until it finally arrives. Sorry.)
