buuut i will come clean and admit that one was a a hair appt

Today started with two early morning client meetings that went very well, then some drop dead, boring ass paperwork filing for my husband (because I am a good the best wife ever), and then I had my hair appointment. There may be very few things in the world better than a fresh cut & highlight. Other than getting my eyebrows waxed, that's good, too (because I cringe at the thought of plucking, not because I have a unibrow). I chose to follow my beloved hair stylist from Denver to Boulder because she's so amazing; at what she does, and who she is. Love, love her. Making trips to Boulder isn't so bad. The drive (above) is beautiful and it gives me time to putz around Pearl Street. I had 15 minutes to spare, so I headed to the best hardware store on the planet, McGuckin's (this place is so awesome, I get sucked in and buy a crap load of things I don't really need - it's like a Target for the super duper cool). So, I bought an iced coffee and set myself free in hardware heaven! Walked away with some cool pens! Notice my furry friend above? Yes, he sat next to me the entire time I was at the salon. Seriously, only in Boulder. I actually kinda liked it. And I promise to you I go to an actual salon (I have a huge bill to prove it) not a groomer. My day in a nutshell.
